Council of Europe Anti-Trafficking Website

The Council of Europe website explains that the trafficking of human beings violates their rights and affects countless lives. The Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings started up in 2008 and aims to prevent the trafficking of human beings, protect victims of trafficking, prosecute traffickers, and to promote co-ordination of national action and international co-operation.
