Trafficking of Persons to Europe for sexual exploitation

The data gathered by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) showed that more nationalities have been found in
Central and Western Europe for the purposes of human trafficking and that of those victims over 80% were used for sexual exploitation. The nationalities of victims found in Central and Western Europe include African (5%), South American (13%), East Asian (3%), Balkans (32%), Central European (7%), Former Soviet Union (19%), and others (21%).
